Job summary

Power Design, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice to learn the trade on the job and earn while you train. You will work with a licensed Journeyman, gaining hands-on experience in multifamily and commercial plumbing, including water supply and drainage systems and fixture setting to meet code.

The program includes classroom instruction and a clear path to advancement as you progress toward becoming a Plumbing Journeyman and potentially senior team leadership on larger projects.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Motivated individuals who want to learn the mechanical trade and have a high school diploma or GED, as well as reliable transportation.
• Ability to enroll and stay in a mechanical apprenticeship program until completion.

Responsibilities

• Partner with a licensed Plumbing Journeyman and receive on-the-job training to become a Journeyman.
• Assist in performing multifamily and commercial plumbing installations.
• Learn and perform all scopes of large-scale projects, including water supply and drainage systems and fixture setting to meet code.
• Participate in an official apprenticeship program and attend classes as required.
