We are hiring for an Electrical Designer to join our team!

Summary: An Electrical Designer to design and draft electrical systems for various projects including hotels, apartments, condominiums, single-family estate homes, theaters, shopping centers, restaurants, retail stores, schools, offices, hospitals, libraries, museums, and general commercial construction across the US, with projects in Southern California, Hawaii, Colorado, Florida, Indiana, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Design and draft electrical systems
• Calculate loads, perform short circuit studies, and conduct energy analysis
• Design lighting, power, and low voltage systems
• Select and specify electrical equipment
• Lay out and size distribution systems
• Coordinate with building departments, clients, and other project team members
• Review contractor’s equipment submittals and RFIs
• Make field observations and report findings

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in a related field required; AEBT accredited BSEE preferred
• 3-7 years of experience designing electrical systems for commercial, industrial, and institutional buildings required
• Excellent AutoCAD skills required; Revit skills preferred
• Proficient in Energy Pro, Easy Power, and other industry-standard electrical engineering software
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
