Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks a Plumber Supervisor for Warren State Hospital to lead skilled staff in planning, installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems. You will oversee safety, quality, and timely completion of tasks across complex facilities.

You will coordinate with other supervisors on renovations, develop project plans with cost estimates and timelines, and ensure compliance with codes while maintaining reliable operations.

Qualifications

• One year as Plumber 2 or three years as Plumber 1, or six years of installation/repair experience in plumbing.
• Active motor vehicle license is required.
• PA residency requirement must be met.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily work of Plumbers and other trades staff, ensuring safety and efficiency.
• Plan and assign routine and specialized installation, repair, and maintenance tasks.
• Ensure plumbing systems meet codes, regulations, and quality standards during installation and repair.
• Troubleshoot and resolve difficult repair issues with incomplete schematics.
• Coordinate with other trades supervisors and management for renovation and construction needs.
• Develop plumbing project plans including cost estimates, materials, labor, and timelines.
