Job Summary

Texas James Plumbing is recruiting a Licensed Journeyman Plumber to step into a crucial management layer between our Responsible Master Plumber (RMP) and our field technicians. This role features a structured two-phase career progression designed to transition a high-performing lead plumber from a producing field leader into a 100% non-producing Senior Field Lead as our truck fleet scales to 6+ active trucks.

Pay Range

Up to $146k per year

Compensation:

Stage: Phase 1 (Producing Lead)

• Primary Earnings (Base + Comm + Bounties): $87,000 – $117,000
• Benefits Value: $18,300
• Total Compensation Value: $105,000 – $135,000

Stage: Phase 2 (6 Trucks – Target $200k/mo)

• Primary Earnings (Base + Overrides + Bonuses): $116,700 – $146,700
• Benefits Value: $18,300
• Total Compensation Value: $135,000 – $165,000

Duties & Responsibilites

• Manage up to 6 active service trucks
• Maintain Revenue and Profit targets for branch
• Help manage between RMP and field technicians

Will start in the field operating a producing service vehicle, driving direct sales revenue

while providing field mentorship, quality control, and onboarding support for junior techs.

Eventually once 6 trucks are fully operational, the Senior Lead steps off the tools 100% to focus on field coaching, ride-alongs, dispatch optimization, quality audits, apprentice development, and recruiting. Zero personal production required.
