PENN Entertainment is hiring for a plumbing role within its Ameristar Casino Resort Spa in Colorado. The position focuses on troubleshooting, repairing, and installing plumbing systems in a hotel/casino environment, with an emphasis on fixtures such as toilets, sinks, and urinals.

Team-based work and uniform standards apply, and ongoing education opportunities are available. Candidates should have experience with drain cleaning equipment and be able to work independently or in a team,

• This is a uniformed role with standard uniform appearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and install plumbing systems and fixtures in a hotel / casino environment.
• Perform new installations as required, which includes installing fixtures such as toilets, sinks, faucets, shower heads etc.
• Respond to drain back-ups on the property and take the necessary actions to clear them.
• Working as part of a team you must be willing and able to help in other areas of the Facilities department when needed.
• This is a uniformed position, which requires that Team Members follow uniformed appearance standards while on duty.

Requirements

• Must have experience in the use of drain cleaning equipment.
• Must have experience installing and repairing plumbing fixtures such as toilets, faucets, urinals, sinks, sensor activated flushing devices on urinals and toilets and on sink faucets.
• Must be able to work alone or as part of a team.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to issues.
• Highly organized and detailed.
