Qualifications

  • Two years of experience in plumbing.
  • 720 classroom hours may substitute for each year of required experience.
  • Possession of a Classified Driver's License (Class E) as per Florida statutes.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains and repairs plumbing and heating fixtures and accessories.
  • Maintains fixtures such as faucets, sinks, valves, vents, water coolers and fountains.
  • Operates State owned vehicles as required.
  • Opens clogged drains and maintains sewer lines.
  • Maintains high- and low-pressure boilers and related systems; cleans equipment.
  • Requisitions materials and cuts/threads pipe for installation.
