Core Job Summary

The Licensed (H) Plumber inspects, repairs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures in heating, water, and drainage systems to ensure safety and quality across our facilities. The role also involves mentoring junior plumbers and handling complex repairs and modifications.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute work orders and participate in projects as assigned.
• Maintain detailed logs of major components.
• Identify electrical, plumbing, and safety issues and take corrective actions.
• Read and interpret blueprints for repairs.
• Maintain piping systems, unclog drains, replace washers, and fix leaky faucets.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance.

Department Specific Functions

• Perform Preventive Maintenance as assigned.
• Keep work areas clean and safe.
• Handle repairs on building structures and systems, utilizing various trades skills.
• Repair panels, partitions, and other structures; install building parts; perform carpentry and lock installation.
• Maintain logs, clean and paint equipment, and handle plumbing fixtures and piping.
• Construct and repair concrete, roofs, and mechanical equipment.

Relevant education, certifications, and work experience will be considered.

Core Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant maintenance and repair experience.
• Certification or license in plumbing or relevant specialty.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license.
