Job summary

New England Mechanical Services is seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2) with 2-5 years of experience for our Trumbull, CT Mechanical Group. The ideal candidate will have commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience, and a background in HVAC piping is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication and written skills are preferred. Some overtime is required to meet project demands.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current CT P-2 license.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping.
• HVAC piping background encouraged.

Job Summary

New England Mechanical Services is currently seeking a CT licensed plumber (P2) with 2-5 years of experience for our Trumbull, CT Mechanical Group. This opportunity requires a self-motivated individual with commercial plumbing, heating, and gas piping experience.

Individuals with HVAC piping background are encouraged to apply. An additional pressure boiler pipefitting license is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent communication and written skills preferred.

Some overtime is required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Include but not limited to the following.

Keep trade licenses and certifications current.

Attend all safety training provided and/or sponsored by NEMSI.

Follow all NEMSI safety policies, procedures, and use personal protective equipment when performing installation and/or servicing HVAC systems.

Interact with the client in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining a clean and neat appearance.

Flexible to work overtime and weekends as demand requires.

Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Demands

The employee is frequently required to stand and occasionally sit. The employee must regularly lift and /or move various weight ranges such as 0-50 lbs. frequently, 51-100 lbs. occasionally and 101 plus seldom. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Maintain a neat and clean appearance and utilize all protective equipment provided and as required.
