Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Plumber II to lead plumbing projects, perform advanced installations, repairs and maintenance, and troubleshoot plumbing systems. You will interpret blueprints and ensure compliance with plumbing codes while guiding junior plumbers.

Based in Goshen, KY, you will collaborate with clients and contractors, estimate materials and labor costs, and help drive safety and quality across our team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber I or 2+ years in a plumbing role.
• Thorough knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive experience interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing layouts.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on project requirements and timelines.
• Supervise and mentor junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead plumbing projects, including new installations, remodeling, repairs, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Interpret and analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan plumbing system layouts and installations.
• Ensure compliance with plumbing codes, regulations, and safety standards.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members to discuss project requirements, timelines, and progress.
• Supervise and provide guidance to junior plumbers and apprentices.
• Clean up job sites and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using advanced tools and techniques.
• Weld, solder, or join pipes using approved methods.
• Conduct thorough inspections of plumbing systems to identify and diagnose complex issues or defects.
• Troubleshoot plumbing problems and provide effective solutions.
• Coordinate with suppliers to procure plumbing materials and equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project progress.
• Train and mentor junior plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
• Stay updated with industry trends, advancements, and regulations.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Plumber I or 2+ years in a plumbing role.

• Extensive experience in interpreting and analyzing blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.

• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum Experience: 2+ years
• Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED
