Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; plumbing apprenticeship preferred.
• Proven experience as a Plumber Helper or Apprentice or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong understanding of plumbing systems, materials, and tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, drains, and water heaters.
• Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues or defects.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for layouts and installations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members on project requirements and timelines.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and labor costs for plumbing projects.
• Install and repair plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, showers, and water heaters.
• Cut, thread, and bend pipes using approved tools.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks and proper function.
• Mentor and guide junior plumbers and helpers.
• Keep accurate records of work and materials used.
