Job summary

R.T. Moore Co., Inc. is hiring a Plumber I to learn the plumbing trade on a Monday–Friday on-site schedule in Ohio. You will study DWV, water systems, fittings, and install plumbing components while building hands-on experience under supervision.

Responsibilities include installing complete plumbing systems, maintaining safety standards, and managing materials. You’ll develop skills in soldering, cutting, and reading blueprints, with opportunities to advance as licensing requirements are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver license required.
• Obtain apprentice licensing in appropriate states.
• Exposed to outdoor weather conditions; various environmental hazards.
• Must be able to stand, walk, use hands, reach, and lift.
• Must be able to climb/balance and lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Learn DWV, water systems, and installation of plumbing fittings.
• Accurately build and install complete plumbing systems.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
• Manage materials needed for projects.
• Develop knowledge of basic tools and plumbing code.
