R.T. Moore is seeking a Plumber I to learn and improve in the plumbing trade. The role focuses on understanding DWV and water systems, installing fittings, and following safety and quality standards.

The position involves hands-on learning, daily site responsibilities, and adherence to a Monday through Friday schedule at on-site locations in Indiana. A valid driver's license and a commitment to ongoing training are required.

Qualifications

• Motivated work ethic required.
• Basic mathematical ability (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedures, and blueprints / CAD drawings.
• Critical thinking and independent problem solving skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Learn DWV, water systems and related plumbing tasks including setting tubs and installing fittings and fixtures.
• Accurately build and install complete plumbing systems with proper fittings.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards on all jobsites.
• Deliberately manage materials needed for projects.
• Learn basic plumbing tools (soldering, cutting, notching) within 30 days and apply them on-site.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite regularly.
• Follow directions and processes set by site leadership.
• Pursue ongoing learning in the plumbing trade.
