Job summary

R.T. Moore, a mid-size mechanical contractor, is seeking a Plumber II to lead installation of DWV, water lines, tub sets, gas lines, and pumps in new construction while mentoring apprentices.

You will read blueprints and site prints, comply with state and local codes, coordinate with the team, maintain safety, organization, and timely paperwork, and uphold the company’s values.

This full-time, Monday–Friday role offers steady hours and growth within a respected contractor.

Qualifications

• Motivated work ethic.
• Basic mathematical ability.
• Ability to read, write and interpret reports and documents.
• Critical thinking and independent problem solving.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• National / Local Plumbing Code knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Precisely install and run DWV, water lines, tub sets, gas lines and pumps per code and company standards.
• Understand and apply state code in all projects.
• Read and interpret job site prints and builder start packs.
• Mentor apprentices, provide guidance, and share knowledge.
• Plan, stage, and prepare materials by reading plans and performing walkthroughs.
• Keep jobsite and truck organized and clean, maintain accurate material tracking.
• Maintain punctuality and adherence to the work schedule.
• Uphold safety and quality standards and live company values daily.
• Coordinate with superintendent and other trades during morning huddle.
• Complete paperwork accurately and on time (time sheets, job folders, punch sheets).
