R. T. Moore Co., Inc. is seeking a Plumber I to learn the plumbing trade and steadily improve quality and speed. Responsibilities include learning DWV and water systems, building and installing plumbing, and maintaining safety and quality on site.

The role emphasizes hands-on training, following directions from leadership, and compliance with licensing. Schedule is Monday through Friday on-site with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain apprentice licensing in appropriate states.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manual, and blueprints / CAD drawings.
• Outdoor work conditions including rain, humidity, snow, wind, cold, and heat.
• Wear job site‑specific personal protective equipment and be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Learn DWV, water systems, and related plumbing components.
• Build and install complete plumbing systems with understanding of fittings.
• Adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Manage materials for projects.
• Develop familiarity with basic plumbing tools (soldering, cutting, notching) within 30 days.
• Maintain a clean and organized jobsite.
• Follow directions from site leadership.
• Pursue plumbing trade learning.
• Comply with state licensing programs.
• Build knowledge of Plumbing Code.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
