Job summary

St. Joseph's University Medical Center is seeking a part-time technician to install, repair and maintain hospital piping systems including domestic water, sanitary and steam services.

You will support hot water and medical gas piping and related service equipment across the facility. Responsibilities include ensuring connections to the systems are secure, conducting routine inspections, and following SJH policies.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
3–5 years of related work experience
Medical gas piping certification preferred
NJ Plumbing License preferred
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

Install, repair and maintain all piping systems within the facility, including domestic water services, sanitary/storm systems, hot water systems, medical gas piping systems and steam piping systems.
Install and maintain miscellaneous service equipment throughout the facility requiring connections to the above systems.

Qualifications

Work requires a High School diploma or equivalent and three to five years of previous work related experience. BlMedical Gas Piping Certification preferred. NJ Plumbing License preferred. Valid driver’s license with no pending violations and an acceptable driving record as stipulated by SJH policy and, if applicable, the SJH insurance carrier, for those required to drive a hospital vehicle.
