The City of Henderson is recruiting for a Plumber to join the Department of Public Works. The role involves installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems in City facilities, with responsibilities for fixtures, piping and related equipment.
Candidates must hold a journeyman certificate/card and be prepared for a structured testing process. Examinations to create an eligibility list will determine best-qualified candidates for a vacancy and may be used for up to one year.
The City of Henderson announces an examination to create an eligibility list and to fill one (1) vacancy for the classification of Plumber in the Department of Public Works. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to one (1) year.
Under general supervision, performs a variety of skilled tasks involved in the installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of plumbing equipment, mechanical systems and related equipment, fixtures and piping in City buildings and facilities; and performs related duties as assigned.
