Candidates must hold a journeyman certificate/card and be prepared for a structured testing process. Examinations to create an eligibility list will determine best-qualified candidates for a vacancy and may be used for up to one year.

Qualifications

• Licensed journeyman plumber required or equivalent certification.
• Skilled in installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain and repair plumbing equipment, mechanical systems and piping in City buildings.
• Work with fixtures and related equipment and perform duties as assigned.
