Perform a wide variety of skilled plumbing functions, including the repair, installation, and preventive maintenance of plumbing equipment and systems. Use computer-based information systems. Promote a workplace that encourages safety within the shop and field. Operate university vehicles to transport materials, tools, and equipment. May be required to use an aerial lift. Report to a Supervisor and actively engage in learning and practicing principles of social justice, inclusion, environmental sustainability, and delivering great customer service.

Bargaining Unit Position – United Electrical Workers. A probationary period may be required for both new hires and current UVM employees. Occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required. The position is a 40‑hour work week. External candidates must complete a 4‑month probationary period.
