Job summary

PremiStar is seeking a licensed CT plumber to install and maintain plumbing and heating systems across varied sites. You will read drawings, assemble piping, coordinate with other trades, and clearly communicate work orders.

Daily tasks include installing pipes, valves, water heaters, and fixtures, performing maintenance, and ensuring safety compliance. Requires CT license and OSHA certification with strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have CT P1 or P2 license and OSHA certification.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and plan layouts.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections and install plumbing systems per drawings.
• Install and maintain water heaters, fixtures, valves, and fittings.
• Plan layouts and coordinate with other trades on site.
• Provide clear communication of work orders and job statuses.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assemble pipe sections, tubings or fittings using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as water heaters or fixtures such as sings and toilets, using hand, specialty piping or power tools.
• Plan the layout of plumbing using drawings.
• Perform Maintenance of water supply systems.
• Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems.
• Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses.
• Coordinate with other trades on site.

Basic Qualifications

• CT P1 or P2 License
• Valid CT Driver’s License
• OSHA 10 or 30 Certificate
• Knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Must clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
• Ability to work on a team and communicate effectively with others.

Physical Demands

Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment. Must be able to use body members to work, move or carry objects or materials. This position requires: stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, seeing, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions. Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.

Work Environment

This job operates primarily alone and travels to different work sites each day. May work in tight spaces, typically indoors, but may work outside in poor weather conditions. vehicles are used as the base of operations.

Salary & Benefits
