Job summary

Granby Public Schools is seeking a Computer Science/Digital Literacy Teacher (PLTW) to lead grades 7–12 in Cybersecurity, AP CS, CS, and two PLTW courses (Design & Modeling, Robotics). You will create engaging lessons, assess student progress, and differentiate instruction to meet diverse needs.

The role requires a Massachusetts DESE license in Digital Literacy/CS (5-12) and a Bachelor’s degree; a Master’s degree is preferred. Collaboration with families and a commitment to equity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MA DESE license in Digital Literacy/Computer Science (5-12)
• Knowledge of CS curriculum in secondary education
• MA DESE fingerprint requirement per district policy

Responsibilities

• Teach courses for grades 7-12: Cybersecurity, AP Computer Science, Computer Science, and two PLTW courses (Design & Modeling and Robotics)
• Develop lessons with measurable objectives and differentiated instruction
• Analyze assessment data to guide instruction and provide feedback to students
• Collaborate with families and colleagues to support student learning
• Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies
