Job summary

ARCHER Systems in Austin seeks a Lien Specialist to resolve complex healthcare liens through advanced data analysis and legal interpretation. You will work with SQL, Excel, and ARCHER’s database to analyze multisource datasets, identify risks, and guide lien strategy while meeting tight deadlines.

The role requires strong communication, independent judgment, and the ability to collaborate across departments to improve processes and standards.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in business operations, legal administration, claims operations, or related roles.
• 2-3 years of experience using Microsoft Excel.
• 1-2 years of experience using SQL.
• Comfortable with SQL and basic Python for data manipulation or automation.
• Excellent communication with legal, technical, and client stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset and data-driven problem solving.
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Operations, Legal Studies, Finance, Technology, or related field.
• 1-2 years’ experience in mass tort administration, healthcare lien resolution, class action settlement administration, or related legal services.

Responsibilities

• Upload and extract large datasets using proprietary tools and evaluate complex lien issues.
• Maintain accurate digital client files and organize case progress.
• Ensure outputs meet accuracy, documentation, and regulatory standards.
• Audit medical claims itemizations and advise on resolution pathways.
• Provide consultative analysis to influence operational decisions and lien strategies.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders and act as primary contact within ARCHER.
