Job summary

General Matter in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Software Engineer - Enterprise Systems to own the integrations connecting manufacturing and enterprise systems across MES, WMS, QMS, PLM/PDM, and ERP. You will report to the Enterprise Systems Manager and ensure secure, reliable data movement on the shop floor and beyond.

This hands-on role spans C#/.NET development, REST APIs, data mapping, and production support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in systems integration, software development, or enterprise/manufacturing systems engineering.
• Experience building and supporting production integrations across enterprise systems using REST APIs, SDKs, and custom services.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET or equivalent language with ability to work in C#/.NET.
• Strong API, data-mapping, and integration-pattern knowledge including authentication, error handling, retries, and reconciliation, plus SQL skills.
• Experience with Git and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Build, own, and operate integrations across MES, WMS, QMS, PLM/PDM, and ERP.
• Own and extend PLM/PDM to MES pipeline with released-part master data and BOMs.
• Develop and maintain API integrations and add-ins in C#/.NET against enterprise-system REST APIs.
• Implement monitoring, logging, retries, reconciliation, and data mappings.
• Collaborate with Security and IT on authentication, encryption, and access controls, plus CI/CD/versioning.
• Manage data migration from legacy finance and other systems during ERP rollout.
