Job summary

L7Commerce, based in Los Angeles, seeks a Senior Technical Business Analyst to drive delivery, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance of core systems. You will bridge business needs and technical teams, shaping requirements, testing, and documentation to align with strategic goals.

The candidate will focus on PLM, ERP, and related workflows, with an emphasis on accuracy, diligence, and cross-functional collaboration across merchandising, product creation, planning, production, and operations.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive PLM configuration experience and be able to configure the PLM system independently with minimal handover.
• Experience in retail, apparel, or fashion is required for this role.
• This is an onsite position with five days per week at Beverly Hills, CA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to gather, organize, and document business and system requirements for requests and improvements.
• Define the business problem, objectives, and key requirements to support scoping of work.
• Coordinate between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication.
• Support daily issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution across platforms and third-party systems.
• Assist with testing, including test case prep, validation of new features, and bug tracking.
• Create and maintain process flows, BRDs, SOPs, release notes and user guides.

Mandatory Skills

• Should have prior PLM system config experience for at least ten years and able to config the PLM system independently with minimum KT

• This is Onsite role and 5 days onsite at Beverly Hills is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, organize, and document business and system requirements for new requests, enhancements, and process improvements.
• Help define the business problem, clarify objectives, identify key requirements, and support scoping for incoming work.
• Serve as a point of coordination between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication and shared understanding.
• Support day-to-day issue triage, troubleshooting, and resolution across business platforms and third-party systems.
• Assist with testing activities, including test case preparation, validation of new functionality, and bug tracking.
• Create and maintain documentation such as process flows, business requirements, SOPs, release notes and user guides.
• Help monitor system usage, data quality, and process adherence, and support analysis that improves system effectiveness and data integrity.
• Participate in project implementation activities from requirements gathering through testing, training and post-launch support.
• Support cross-functional meetings by capturing action items, following up on open questions, and helping keep work organized and moving forward.
• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across departments and develop an understanding of the business processes supported by technology.
• Help ensure changes stay within agreed scope and that new out-of-scope requests are properly documented and routed through the intake process.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in PLM systems in roles like business analysis, systems analysis, project coordination, technology operations, or a related role.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into clear documentation.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems and identify practical solutions.
• Comfort working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic understanding of business systems, software development lifecycle concepts, and system implementation processes.
• Experience with requirements documentation, testing, data analysis, or process mapping is a plus.
• Exposure to PLM, ERP, retail, supply chain, merchandising, or apparel industry systems is a plus.
• Familiarity with tools such as Asana, SharePoint, ticketing systems, Excel, and reporting or BI tools is a plus.
• SQL or other technical/reporting skills are a plus.
