Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Limited in Long Beach, CA seeks a Senior Engineer to own the PLM program, define the product roadmap, and partner with engineering, manufacturing and IT to drive adoption.

You will lead agile processes, ensure data integrity and system security, and oversee changes like ECR/ECN, BOM, and documentation, delivering features in a compliant aerospace environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or master's in CS or equivalent.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with PLM software and aerospace process.
Experience in Agile frameworks.
Background in PLM customization and integration.
Good communication with tech and non-tech stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Define, prioritize, and maintain the PLM product roadmap and backlog, turning business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
Act as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external partners to gather requirements and drive adoption.
Optimize PLM workflows, including Change Management (ECR/ECN), BOM management, and document control, aligning them with company goals.
Drive product development using Scrum or SAFe, leading grooming and sprint planning sessions with technical teams.
Ensure system availability, data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards, coordinating testing and deployment of new features.

Experience with PLM software like 3DX, Teamcenter
PLM experience on aerospace process / certification and knowledge of products.
Experience in executing projects in Agile Framework
Background in engineering, IT, or product data management, with experience in PLM customization and integration.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
