Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in California seeks a PLM Product Manager to own the product roadmap and backlog, translating business requirements into actionable user stories. You will drive PLM initiatives spanning 3DX/Teamcenter and aerospace domains.

You will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external partners, optimize Change Management and BOM workflows, and lead Scrum/SAFe activities to deliver secure, compliant PLM solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have PLM experience with 3DX/Teamcenter and aerospace process knowledge.
• Experience converting business requirements into actionable user stories.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent; Agile certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define, prioritize, and maintain the PLM product roadmap and backlog.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external partners.
• Optimize PLM workflows including Change Management and BOM control.
• Lead Scrum/SAFe ceremonies and drive agile product development.
• Ensure system availability, data integrity, security, and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Backlog & Strategy: Define, prioritize, and maintain the PLM product roadmap and backlog, turning business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between engineering, manufacturing, IT, and external partners to gather requirements and drive adoption.
• Process Improvement: Optimize PLM workflows, including Change Management (ECR/ECN), BOM management, and document control, aligning them with company goals.
• Agile Leadership: Drive product development using Scrum or SAFe, leading grooming and sprint planning sessions with technical teams.
• System Ownership: Ensure system availability, data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards, coordinating testing and deployment of new features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Ability to communicate complex results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certifications: Good to have Agile certifications SAFe / PSM

Base Salary Range : $120,000 to $160,000 Per Annum
