Actalent is seeking a PLM Application Developer to support a high-profile U.S. Navy weapon system, focusing on Windchill-based PLM implementation, data management, and requirements traceability.

You'll contribute to a team delivering configuration management and model-based engineering solutions across related business areas. You will work both independently and with a cross-functional team, applying PLM principles, maintaining training materials, and driving PLM enhancements in a hybrid

Qualifications

• Experience with PLM and data management tools.
• Programming experience in C++ (coursework/internship acceptable).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Apply PLM and data management principles to support engineering activities.
• Implement configuration management across the data lifecycle with tracking.
• Collaborate with teams to support digital engineering implementations.
• Research PLM trends and contribute to model-based engineering improvements.
• Develop PLM system requirements and map to capabilities.
• Perform verification/validation between legacy and future systems.
• Support data migration to a single PLM architecture using Windchill.
• Prepare and deliver training materials for PLM users.
• Stay current with PLM technologies and identify opportunities to extend PLM services.
• Analyze requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot using PLM tools.
• Communicate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and deliver solutions.
• Configure and support Windchill and integrate with DOORS/JIRA.
