Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly technical PLM/CAD engineer to join the Digital Vehicle Engineering Platform. You will focus on 3DX/ENOVIA customizations, data migrations, and AI-enabled validation.

You will design, develop, and deploy server-side components (Java, REST APIs, CAA/RADE, C++), build data pipelines, and lead platform releases while collaborating with global suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in PLM/CAD software development and automation.
• 5+ years CAD/PLM interoperability, datasets, BOMs, metadata.
• Experience leading migrations, APIs and data validation.
• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy 3DX ENOVIA customizations.
• Develop server-side components (Java, REST) and CAD widgets.
• Configure ENOVIA data models, lifecycles, access policies.
• Architect data pipelines for CAD data and BOMs.
• Move data between Teamcenter/CATIA V5 and 3DX; support migrations.
• Lead CI/CD and Agile delivery; manage Jira backlog.
