Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a highly technical Specialist Developer to advance the 3DEXPERIENCE/ENOVIA platform, enabling Ford teams to efficiently manage hardware systems. The role focuses on 3DX/ENOVIA customizations, data migrations, and AI-enabled validation, with strong emphasis on Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (or foreign equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years in PLM/CAD software development and automation with interoperability, customizations, migrations, and upgrades for 3DEXPERIENCE and Teamcenter.
• 5+ years CAD/PLM interactions in engineering data management (datasets, BOMs, metadata, lifecycle).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy customizations and integrations within 3DExperience/ENOVIA.
• Develop server-side components (Java, REST APIs), CAA/RADE, C++ extensions, client-side 3DX widgets and apps.
• Architect data pipelines to migrate CAD data into 3DX with metadata mapping.
• Integrate AI/ML into the CAD toolchain to automate validation and BOM reconciliation.
• Lead 3DX releases, provide Level 2/3 support, and manage Agile backlogs.
