Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks an Engineering Systems Engineer to enhance PLM, engineering data, and digital engineering. You will support Windchill PLM operations, BOM management, and AI-enabled initiatives across global teams in the US, China, India, and beyond.

The role emphasizes data quality, process standardization, user training, and driving automation to improve engineering productivity.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
Strong English communication skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
Excellent technical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to collaborate with global teams across engineering, IT, and AI functions.
Experience with PLM processes and engineering data management is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide Windchill PLM system support and admin tasks (user activation, role assignment, access controls).
Troubleshoot PLM-related issues, data synchronization, and workflow interruptions.
Support engineering change management (ECR/ECN) and BOM/product structure management.
Assist Creo/PLM integration, CAD data management, check-in/check-out workflows.
Support AI-enabled engineering initiatives, data quality, and enterprise search readiness.
Collaborate with global teams to implement PLM and AI-related improvements.
