Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Machine Operator in Dixon, IL to produce pleated media per specifications and supply to the filter assembly. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 4:00am to 2:00pm, with duties to monitor equipment and maintain quality.

You will read blueprints, operate gauges, perform inspections, complete paperwork, and adhere to safety and DOT/HAZMAT policies. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to critical filtration solutions and join a collaborative, safety‑driven team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Able to operate computer systems.
• Able to utilize gauges, calipers, indicators, scales and tape measures.
• Exhibit mechanical aptitude.
• Adhere to safety procedures.
• Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate pleating process equipment and follow prints/route sheets.
• Meet quality and quantity standards for pleated media.
• Communicate with material handlers to ensure correct media supply.
• Perform quality checks and tests as assigned.
• Complete necessary paperwork (scrap reports, usage and testing sheets).
• Monitor production rates and notify Team Leader of variances.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Comply with DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies and PPE requirements.
