Engineering Supervisor/Programmer - Electrical

A leading manufacturer of high-speed bakery and material handling systems for the food and beverage industry is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineering Supervisor / Programmer to join their team in York, Pennsylvania. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop, support, and administer electrical control and automation systems, while contributing to the growth of the business.

Key Role Functions

• Design and development of equipment control systems, including programming and hardware implementation
• Creation of control panel layouts and interconnection diagrams, ensuring accurate electrical wiring designs
• Review and validation of electrical drawings, providing direction to subordinates and ensuring quality control and safety procedures are met
• Research and development of new equipment, testing and implementation to ensure success
• Communication with vendors to determine technology updates and application
• Troubleshooting equipment via phone, online, or site visits
• Support in-house electrical wiring practices and questions

Role Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in PLC systems, Ladder Logic programming, and HMI systems
• Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles
• ControlLogix/CompactLogix with Robotic Motion and FactoryTalk View Studio (ME) programming required
• Design skills, with a focus on strong program architecture principles
• Ability to work well under pressure, stay organized, and solve problems logically
