Job summary

The Maintenance Technician position at Amcor Flexibles, LLC in Jackson, TN maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and improves manufacturing equipment and facility systems to support safe, efficient plant operations.

You will perform PMs, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems; document repairs; and adhere to safety, LOTO, and ISO standards in a climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent with 2+ years manufacturing, technical school &/or Associates degree from an accredited technical institute preferred.
• 1-4 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Must possess strong troubleshooting & mechanical skill sets.
• Proficient in Office 360, JDE, Coast.
• Capable of reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Must have 1-4 years experience in an industrial manufacturing environment or equivalent.
• Must possess strong troubleshooting & mechanical skill sets.
• Negative drug screen results.

Responsibilities

• Perform PMs, cleans and lubricates molding machines and equipment.
• Modifies, repairs, and rebuilds plant machinery and equipment.
• Performs mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair.
• Documents repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Performs installation of new equipment and/or relocation of equipment.
