Job summary

Applied Engineering seeks a PLC Engineer in Fargo, ND to support and program automated manufacturing systems. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment and robotics-enabled processes.

The role requires a BS in Electrical Engineering, plus experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs and a willingness to learn across projects in the Fargo metro area. Candidates should value ownership and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level electrical engineering degree required.
• Basic robotics knowledge required.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, instrument, and control diagrams.
• 1 year of professional experience required (co-ops/internships considered).
• Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC programming is required.
• Electrical repair/maintenance experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide setup and operation support for automated manufacturing systems.
