Qualifications
- High school diploma required; 4+ years in electronics.
- 2–3 years of PLC schooling.
- Experience in an industrial environment with computer interfacing.
Responsibilities
- Advise Maintenance Manager of electrical problems and provide solutions.
- Build, maintain and repair production electronic systems.
- Retrofit machine control systems, read, modify, and create machinery electrical schematics.
- Install, repair and retrofit motor controllers and drives.
- Troubleshoot problems quickly and implement viable solutions.
- Identify potential problems through preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose/maintain PLC systems and related control circuits.
- Prioritize tasks and adapt to schedule changes.
- Operate forklift or related equipment as needed.
