General Shale is seeking an PLC / Electrical Technician to maintain and improve plant electrical systems and automated equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will support production through preventive maintenance, upgrades, and on-call technical support.

Key responsibilities include wiring/installations, troubleshooting, PLC issue resolution, and working with Allen-Bradley and Siemens platforms. On-call shifts and weekends are part of the role.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years of industrial electronics or electrical experience.
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
• Experience with HMIs and PLCs in industrial environments.
• Proficiency with Allen-Bradley and Siemens automation and programming.

Responsabilidades

• Perform basic wiring and installation of industrial electrical equipment.

• Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on electrical and control systems.
• Modify and update software and equipment to support operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to automation and controls.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, including off-shifts and weekends.
• Work primarily with control systems and software.

The PLC / Electrical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving plant electrical systems and automated equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position supports production through preventative maintenance, system upgrades, and on-call technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Industrial electrician experience strongly desired
