Job summary

H. T. PROF Group in the Atlanta southwest suburban area is seeking a Controls Technician for a day shift (7:00am - 3:30pm, Mon-Fri). You will build PLC panels, program and bring them online, and support integration of automated equipment in production.

The role covers configuring, testing, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting controls, with opportunities to work on pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and safety circuits. Bonus: strong benefits and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of related experience is required.
• PLC programming experience is essential.
• Electrical experience is required; robotics experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety circuit integration is required.

Responsibilities

• Build PLC panels and program them, then get them up and running.
• Configure, test, operate, maintain, service, and troubleshoot controls and automated systems.
• Assist in cell design and integration of controls with production equipment.
• Install, repair, and maintain pneumatic, hydraulic, and robot-control systems.
• Train others to install, use, and service equipment.
