Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Controls Technician on the day shift (7:00am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri) in the southwest suburban Atlanta area to design, build and program PLC panels for automated equipment.

The role involves configuring, testing, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting controls within production lines, with strong focus on safety circuits and integration. Responsibilities include installation, startup, and ongoing maintenance, working closely with engineers and production teams to

Qualifications

• PLC programming experience required.
• Electrical systems knowledge.
• Robotics exposure preferred.
• Safety circuits integration is required.
• Authorized to work in USA without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and build PLC panels and program them.
• Troubleshoot and maintain automated equipment.
• Work with engineers and production to meet output goals.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of controls.
• Provide preventative maintenance on control systems.
• Train others to install and service equipment.
