Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and use electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs using ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits (3-phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC, 24 VAC, and VDC).
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and HMI/PanelView.
• Familiar with Yaskawa drives and robotics.
• Troubleshoot and commission VFDs, 3-phase motor starters, sensors, and actuators.
• Work with Industrial Networks (Ethernet/IP) and basic LAN concepts.

Summary

As a Robotics Technician at Windsor Door, you will play a critical role in enhancing our manufacturing processes through automation and robotics. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of product quality and efficiency in our production lines.

Installs, repairs, and assists in the development and construction of electronic systems, automated apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Must have Allen-Bradley control experience and be familiar with Studio 5000 Professional and FactoryTalk View Studio ME. This person will help with “designing programmable systems” in collaboration with electrical engineers, vendors, and manufacturing management.

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and use electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC's utilizing ladder logic programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits (3-phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC, 24 VAC, and VDC control circuits).
• Maintain and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix & Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) or Panelview.
• Should be familiar with Yaskawa drives and robotics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and commission Variable Frequency AC Drives, 3-phase motor starters, solenoids, control valves, servo motors and drives, analog/digital sensors (pressure, level, temperature), load cells.
• Experience using Industrial Networks (Ethernet, Ethernet/IP) and basic LAN concepts.

Qualifications

4+ years of manufacturing controls experience.
