Job summary

Windsor Door is seeking an Automation Controls Technician in Arkansas to advance manufacturing through automation and robotics. You will install, repair, and help develop electronic control systems for industrial machinery, collaborating with electrical engineers and vendors to maintain quality and efficiency on production lines.

You will read schematics, troubleshoot PLCs, and manage 3-phase circuits while supporting Yaskawa drives and robotics.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing controls experience.
• Experience reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Safety-sensitive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and use electrical schematics.
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs using ladder logic.
• Troubleshoot 3-phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC, 24 VAC, and VDC circuits.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and HMI/PanelView.
• Develop new engineering and controls solutions.
• Familiar with Yaskawa drives and robotics.
• Troubleshoot and commission VFDs, motor starters, solenoids, valves, servo motors and sensors.
• Work with Industrial Networks (Ethernet and Ethernet/IP).

Summary

As an Automation Controls Technician at Windsor Door, you will play a critical role in enhancing our manufacturing processes through automation and robotics. This position is essential for maintaining our high standards of product quality and efficiency in our production lines.

Installs, repairs, and assists in the development and construction of electronic systems, automated apparatus, and electrical and electronic components of Industrial machinery and equipment by performing the following duties. Must have Allen-Bradley control and be familiar with Studio 5000 Professional and FactoryTalk View Studio ME. This person will help with "designing programmable systems" in collaboration with electrical engineers, vendors, and manufacturing management.

Experience:

• Manufacturing Controls: 4 years (Required)
• Allen-Bradley control: 4 years (Required)
• Troubleshooting and maintaining PLC: 4 years (Required)
• Electrical Circuits (3 phase ): 4 years (Required)

Responsibilities

• Ability to read and use electrical schematics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and program PLC's utilizing ladder logic programming.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits (3-phase 480 VAC, 120 VAC, 24 VAC, and VDC control circuits).
• Maintain and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) including Allen-Bradley ControlLogix & Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) or Panelview.
• Develop new insights and drive innovative engineering and controls solutions
• Should be familiar with Yaskawa drives and robotics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and commission Variable Frequency AC Drives, 3-phase motor starters, solenoids, control valves, servo motors and drives, analog/digital sensors (pressure, level, temperature), load cells.
• Experience using Industrial Networks (Ethernet, Ethernet/IP) and basic LAN concepts.

Qualifications:

2+ years of manufacturing controls experience.
