Espace is seeking a PLC Programmer/Controls and Power Systems Engineer to enhance control systems on innovative manufacturing equipment in Arlington, TX. This full-time role requires extensive experience with PLC systems, particularly Siemens, and directly contributes to developing space-based solutions.

The ideal candidate will collaborate with engineers and manufacturers, ensuring improved reliability, safety, and performance in a fast-paced, innovative environment committed to refining satellite technologies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with PLCs in an industrial environment.
• Strong hands-on experience modifying and troubleshooting existing PLC code.
• Experience working with OEM equipment and external machine vendors.

Responsibilities

• Modify, debug, and optimize PLC programs on existing production equipment.
• Collaborate with process and equipment engineers to translate process needs into control logic.
• Support commissioning, re-commissioning, and acceptance of modified machines.
