Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking a controls technician to program PLC logic, verify calibrations, and trace faults in control circuitry across a range of industrial systems. You’ll support electrical and maintenance teams working on diverse equipment in a robust industrial setting.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, recording logs, and installing/control wiring. A High School Diploma with relevant experience is required; shift flexibility is needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5+ years in oil, refinery, chemical, or steel mill environments preferred.
• Instrument/Electrical training or degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Champion safe work practices and follow all policies and procedures.
• Troubleshoot instrumentation and control malfunctions.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations with accuracy.
• Maintain records and logs of activities and findings.
• Install new control systems and power wiring; run cabling.
