ProStaffing is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrical Controls Technician in Conover, NC. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical control systems on industrial equipment, diagnose PLCs, drives, sensors, and complete programming to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires strong electrical/electronics background, NEC familiarity, and the ability to read schematics. Full-time direct hire with first shift hours and overtime as needed.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; 2-3 years of specialized technical training may qualify.
• Electrical or electronics training highly valued.
• Electrical licensing is a plus.
• Forklift/boom/scissor lift certification required or willing to obtain.
• Comfort working at heights and willingness to overtime as needed.

Mansioni

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and electronic control systems on industrial equipment.
• Diagnose PLC, motor controls, sensors, drives, and automated machinery issues.
• Perform PLC troubleshooting and programming to resolve malfunctions.
• Install, maintain, modify, and upgrade electrical control systems and components.
• Read and modify electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and machinery improvements.
• Maintain computerized equipment controls with software updates.
• Identify replacement parts and assist with purchasing as needed.
• Follow electrical safety procedures and applicable codes.
