Job summary

ProStaffing is seeking an experienced MFG Electrical Technician for a direct hire opportunity in Conover, NC. The role focuses on troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems to maximize equipment reliability and uptime.

Responsibilities include installing, diagnosing, and maintaining motors, panels, VFDs, and control circuits while adhering to strict safety standards and LOTO procedures. The position is on the day shift with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of electrical installation, troubleshooting, or maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with diagnostic testing equipment.
• Strong safety and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) practices.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, panels, circuit breakers, switches, and control systems.
• Diagnose electrical problems using multimeters, clamp meters, insulation testers, and other diagnostic equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on motors, VFDs, relays, distribution equipment, and control circuits.
• Inspect electrical components and identify potential safety hazards or equipment failures.
• Troubleshoot single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and equipment testing.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures, including LOTO, PPE, and codes.
