Tesco Controls in the U.S. seeks a PLC Application Engineer to write PLC and OIT programs, and create software control descriptions for water and wastewater processes, using engineering drawings and project specs.
You will travel 30-40% across California, perform bench and panel testing, support startup, and provide technical assistance to customers, engineers, and end users, ensuring safe, reliable operation.

Under direct supervision, the PLC Application Engineer writes PLC programs, OIT programs, and software control descriptions for controlling water and/or wastewater processes. Responsible for working off engineering drawings and specifications to write programs using various software and hardware platforms. Also responsible for bench testing and panel testing to verify that all aspects of PLC & OIT functionality meet required project specifications. Assist with the startup and troubleshooting of programs once installed onsite.
This role will travel about 30-40% of the time throughout California.
