Job summary
BlackCube Labs seeks an experienced QA Automation Engineer to design and maintain automated tests for modern web apps, APIs, and distributed systems. You will leverage Playwright and explore AI-assisted testing within DevOps workflows.
The role emphasizes creating robust test frameworks, building functional/integration/regression suites, and collaborating across engineering and product teams to ensure high quality releases.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in QA and Test Automation.
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright.
- Experience testing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and automated testing in modern DevOps environments.
- Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright.
- Create and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test suites.
- Develop automated testing strategies for web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Perform load and performance testing using JMeter.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and architects throughout the SDLC.
- Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and quality gates.
- Explore and leverage AI-assisted testing tools and practices to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
