Job summary

Classic Club in Palm Desert, CA is seeking a part-time Golf Shop Assistant to contribute to a positive guest experience and grow knowledge of golf operations.

As a Troon associate, you will join a global leader in golf and community management. The position is seasonal, approximately 6 months, with duties across reservations, check-in, inventory, POS, and cash reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course
• Provide customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in
• Arrange and display golf shop inventory as necessary and directed
• Collect green and cart fees and other revenue from guests and process in the POS system
• Issue receipts for guest purchases
• Take messages for staff or guests
• Assist in packing/unpacking inventory and golf operation supplies
• Assist in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to the daily register at close
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager

Classic Club, located in Palm Desert, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Golf Shop Assistant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:

$17.40 - $20.00 per hour

Position Responsibilities:

Process customer reservations for guests of the golf course

Provides customer service to arriving guests to help expedite check-in process

Arranges and displays golf shop inventory as necessary and directed

Collects green and cart fees (and other revenue) from guests and processes in the POS system as trained

Issues receipts for guest purchases

Takes messages for staff or guests

Assists in packing and unpacking inventory and golf operations supplies

Assists in reconciliation of cash and accounts receivable charges to daily register at the closing of the day

Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
