Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a guest-focused team member at their Dayton area location. The role centers on cashiering, money handling, and providing outstanding guest service in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of cashiering experience, be 21+, pass background/credit checks, and be able to work all shifts. Licensing with the Ohio Lottery Commission is required, with strict adherence to internal controls and Title 31 regulations.

Qualifications

• Able to tolerate smoke, noise, and varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ticketing and jackpot kiosks on the gaming floor, including filling, dropping, and balancing.
• Maintain lottery ticket stations on the gaming floor, including dropping and balancing.
• Pay out patron jackpots and complete related paperwork for Cashiers, VLT, and F&B.
• Do F&B nightly drops and prepare funds for deposits to the bank.
• Run loose coins from bank for ticketing kiosk fills; ensure accuracy and compliance with procedures.

• Maintain ticketing and jackpot kiosks on the gaming floor, including filling, dropping, and balancing.
• Maintaining lottery ticket stations on the gaming floor, including dropping and balancing.
• Pay out patron’s jackpot winnings.
• Complete paperwork and currency exchanges for Cashiers, VLT, and F&B.
• Complete F&B nightly drops.
• Verify money from Soft Count.
• Prepare funds for deposit to bank.
• Run loose coins from bank for ticketing kiosk fills.
• Be knowledgeable and comply with Title 31 regulations.
• Answer phone calls with proper phone etiquette.
• Comply with state, company, and department policies and regulations.
• Other duties, as needed.

• Must qualify for licensing by Ohio Lottery Commission.
• Must be able to navigate multiple computer programs.
• Must be able to pass background check and credit check.
• Must be able to tolerate areas containing second hand smoke, varying noise and temperature levels, illumination, vibration, crowds, and air quality.
• Must have open availability including all three shifts, weekends, and holidays.
