Job summary

Zynga is seeking a data analytics/data science professional to join the Analytics team. You’ll work with large data sets to improve player engagement, develop narratives with Tableau, and partner with PSO, game analysts, and product managers to quantify campaign impact.

Strong SQL and Python skills, CRM analytics experience, and 2+ years in data roles are expected. The role supports VIP outreach optimization across regions, with a comprehensive benefits package and a competitive Illinois salary

Qualifications

• Fluent in SQL and intermediate Python
• Proficient in data visualization with Tableau
• Experience in CRM analytics is helpful
• Experience with data mining, optimization, experimental design and reporting
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• 2+ years of experience in data analytics or data science
• BS in a quantitative field; advanced degrees preferred

Responsibilities

• Work with large data to improve the player experience and provide insights on VIP outreach across regions, demographics and channels
• Develop narratives from data using visualization to capture VIP engagement, health, player support and campaign stats
• Support Player Support to identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction while optimizing costs
• Collaborate with game analysts and product managers to quantify impact of PSO campaigns on game performance and boost VIP engagement
• Provide ad hoc support to account managers and senior stakeholders measuring effectiveness of campaigns and collaborations
