Zynga in Illinois is seeking a data analytics professional to partner with the Player Success Org (PSO) to enhance player engagement and VIP outreach through data modeling, reporting, and proactive insights.

You will analyze large datasets, develop data-driven narratives, and create visualizations to report VIP engagement and campaign performance, while supporting customer satisfaction and cost controls. Strong SQL/Python skills and Tableau experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field; advanced degrees preferred.

Role Overview

As part of Zynga Analytics, the Player Success Org (PSO) improves player engagement and maintains strong relationships with valued players. The incumbent will partner with PSO stakeholders to identify critical data dependencies and develop solutions through data modeling, reporting, analysis, and proactive insights.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze large datasets to identify improvements in player experience and recommend optimal VIP outreach strategies by examining the statistical impact of campaigns, sweepstakes, outreach programs, regions, demographics, and channels.
• Develop data‑driven narratives and visualizations that report VIP engagement, player support metrics, and campaign performance.
• Support Player Support to improve customer satisfaction metrics while controlling internal costs.
• Collaborate with game analysts and product managers to quantify the impact of PSO campaigns on game performance and identify opportunities for enhanced VIP engagement through game‑internal and external synergy.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis to account managers and senior stakeholders on off‑beat campaigns, collaborations, and sweepstakes effectiveness.

What You Bring

• Fluent SQL skills; intermediate experience in Python.
• Proficiency with at least one visualization tool such as Tableau.
• Experience in CRM or sales analytics is helpful.
• Experience or knowledge in data mining, optimization, experimental design, computational analytics, and reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have 2+ years of data analytics or data science experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other quantitative field; advanced degrees preferred.

Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $71,400 and $105,660 CAD per year. In Illinois, the pay range is between $77,100 and $114,120 CAD per year. Base pay is based on market location and individual qualifications.

Compensation may include bonus and/or equity awards, participation in the company 401(K) plan, and Employee Stock Purchase Program.
