Status: Intermittent, Unclassified, Non-Exempt
Pay Range: $19.00
Normal Working Hours: Intermittent/Variable. Some evenings and weekend required
Job Summary: Under the general supervision of the Studio Operations Technician and/or Assistant Director of Public Service, performs technical and administrative work to provide and promote City events. This position may assist in generating a wide variety of communication content, including but not limited to videos, photos, and graphic design elements. This position may assist in updating the city's website, producing the city's weekly e-newsletter, producing the city's internal communication efforts, and managing social media. The incumbent interfaces with all levels of city staff, and general public and represents the city in a professional manner.
Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check, employment reference checks, a physical examination and a pre-employment drug screen. The final applicant will be required to submit to urinalysis prior to the appointment to test for illegal drug use. An applicant with a positive test will not be appointed to the position.
